RF Remote Controlled Time Switch

This new ground breaking switch, is innovative in that it enables consumers to switch various loads ON and OFF at a press of a button or by programming the switch on a remote controlled transmitter to switch a load ON or OFF at freely programmable times just as any digital time switch.
Existing digital time switches are limited in two ways:
  • Because the programming keypad is combined with the electrical switch itself, these traditional digital time switches expose consumers to the risk of electrocution. Users have to fiddle in the electrical distribution box in order to change or update existing programming settings of the digital timer. The above SAG-TO & SAG-CO pair separates the programming function performed on the RF transmitter (SAG-TO) from the switching function performed on the RF Receiver Switch (SAG-CO). 
  • For non-technical consumers, traditional time switches are difficult to manage over the long term.  At a time when electricity is becoming extremely expensive in South Africa, managing consumption through reliable automation is a viable solution. However, patterns of consumption change quite often. Thus having to walk to the electrical distribution box, opening it, making changes on the traditional digital timer’s settings and closing it again every time patterns of consumption change is both demanding, prohibitive and a limitation on the use of digital timers to control consumption.  In contrast to the above, the SAG-TO RF transmitter allows the user to simply make changes, anywhere within 30 meters of the actual RF Receiver switch. 
This new ground breaking time switch pair is user friendly, reliable and easy to read and program. Even a layman, non technical person can play around with it, without any fear of electrocution. The RF transmitter (SAG-TO) guarantees maximum safety, performance and reliability. Consumers can play with the SAG-TO RF Transmitter to control their electricity consumption as they do with their TV remote Controls!
Each SAG-TO RF Transmitter can be paired with up to 16 SAG-CO RF Receiver switches.  This will enable various consumers to control various loads with a current rating below 30A including but not limited to: geysers, thermostats, lights, pools, fountains, pressure switches or humidity sensors etc... 
The programmable SAG-TO RF Transmitter includes a digital display similar to that found on some advanced traditional time Switches.
SAG-CO RF Receiver switch also include a delay function (1Hour, 1 Hour and 45 Minutes and 2 Hours and 45 minutes) for consumers who may want to use other simpler remote controls (up to 80 metres open distance). This function allows the user to obtain the SAG-CO RF receiver switch and use an approved simpler remote control to switch ON the load. After the predetermined delay above, the switch will automatically switch OFF.
All customers (industrial, commercial and domestic) irrespective of their technical knowledge can make use of the above time switch to control their electricity consumption and for any other automation applications. The control has now been placed in the hands of the consumer! The consumer can now decide how much he/she wants to consume, when and how- an important leap towards becoming energy efficient and saving nation.
